iStrands for iPhone / iPod touch

iStrands enables you to build your profile at www.mystrands.com in realtime while listening to your music on an iPhone or iPod touch.

If you have a jailbroken 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 iPhone or iPod touch follow these simple instructions.

Install instructions

1. Install "Community Sources" in your Installer app if you haven't done so yet.
2. Install the iStrands tracker. To do so tap on "Install" tab of "Installer" app, navigate inside the "Multimedia" folder and then install "iStrands".
3. Congrats, iStrands is now installed in your iPhone, now you just need to add your MyStrands username and password to be ready to go (register here if you don't have those).
   Configuration is done through the regular iPod preferences if you have an iPhone (down to the bottom of the iphone preferences list) OR tapping iStrands right inside preferences if you have an iPod touch.

Requisites

1. iPhone / iPod touch with firmware 1.1.1 or 1.1.2
2. Device needs to be jailbroken.
   • 1.1.1 users browse to www.jailbreakme.com in your mobile Safari browser, read carefully and follow instructions.
   • 1.1.2 users google for instructions.
3. Installer App installed in your device
4. WiFi or EDGE connection. Keep in mind that iStrands will send playcounts over edge if no WiFi is available. While offline iStrands keeps a backlog of playcounts that is sent to our servers when coming back online.
